PhosAgro to build 1 mln tn ammonia, carbamide units in Cherepovets
CHEREPOVETS, Nov 19 (PRIME) -- Russian fertilizer producer PhosAgro plans to construct units to produce ammonia and carbamide with a capacity of 1 million tonne each, at a site in the city of Cherepovets in the Vologda Region, CEO Andrei Guryev said on Friday.
“We have decided to build a new ammonia unit and a granulated carbamide unit, both with a capacity of 1 million tonnes, here, at the site in Cherepovets,” he said during a launching ceremony for a sulfuric acid unit.
Guryev added that construction will begin in 2022, and the new units will manufacture the first products at the end of 2025.
